Project name:Metodología global para la revisión de la resiliencia de las infraestructuras: el Plan Nacional para la Resiliencia de las Infraestructuras de Bután

El Plan Nacional para la Resiliencia de las Infraestructuras de Bután sirve de hoja de ruta para reforzar las infraestructuras críticas frente a los peligros naturales y los desastres.

Elaborado por el Grupo de Trabajo Técnico para la resiliencia de las infraestructuras, dirigido por el Departamento de Gobernanza Local y Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres (DLGDM) del Ministerio del Interior, el Plan se creó en colaboración con la UNDRR, la CDRI y con el apoyo de UNOSAT.

Esta colaboración participativa identifica las vulnerabilidades del sector, evalúa la exposición al riesgo y recomienda medidas de resiliencia viables, dotando a los responsables políticos y a las partes interesadas de una guía estratégica para salvaguardar las infraestructuras de Bután.

El Plan Nacional para la Resiliencia de las Infraestructuras se elaboró gracias a la colaboración entre organismos de siete ministerios. Sus conclusiones proporcionan una guía estratégica para el desarrollo de infraestructuras resilientes en todo el país.

Las instituciones gubernamentales han acordado incorporar las recomendaciones en sus estrategias y planes sectoriales como parte de la aplicación del 13º Plan Estratégico Quinquenal. Este compromiso garantiza que el desarrollo de infraestructuras resilientes se ajuste a las prioridades nacionales y respalde la sostenibilidad a largo plazo.

Las recomendaciones del Plan Nacional perfeccionarán las necesidades de datos específicos de cada sector para una base de datos nacional que se está desarrollando. Esta base de datos mejorará el seguimiento de las infraestructuras críticas, facilitará el intercambio de datos entre sectores y reforzará la toma de decisiones para garantizar la continuidad y la resiliencia de los servicios.

She holds a Master’s in Finance & Control from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School (CSR India). Her work is driven by a commitment to building enduring, values-based partnerships that accelerate sustainable development outcomes.
