Infrastructure For Resilient Island States (IRIS)

IRIS was jointly launched at the World Leaders Summit at COP26 in Glasgow, UK, by the Prime Ministers of India, UK, Australia, Fiji, Jamaica and Mauritius. IRIS is a dedicated initiative that aims to support Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in achieving sustainable development through a systematic approach to resilient, sustainable, and inclusive infrastructure.

Biennial Report on Global Infrastructure Resilience

CDRI’s Biennial Report on Global Infrastructure Resilience will be the first major comprehensive periodical report on infrastructure resilience. It will provide a state-of the art analysis of infrastructure risk and resilience, assessment of progress in closing the resilience gap and identify policy opportunities for disaster and climate resilience of infrastructure.

Fellowship

CDRI Fellowship Programme was launched in September 2020 with the objective of promoting research and innovation on building the resilience of infrastructure in the face of disaster risks emanating from both natural and man-made hazards. The second cohort of CDRI Fellows was announced at the ICDRI in May 2022 with 32 researchers from 10 countries.

International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI)

International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) is the annual conference of CDRI bringing together experts, decision-makers and practitioners from Member Countries, organizations and institutions to discuss challenges and identify good practices to strengthen the global discourse on disaster and climate resilient infrastructure.
