Aishwarya Raj has her work expertise in Global Climate Policy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Disaster Management as a cross cutting theme between the two. Presently, she is a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) consultant on secondment to Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and, is working on CDRI's Flagship Report on Disaster and Climate Resilient Infrastructure. Previously, she was employed by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) wherein her work profile catered to the international, national and sub-national facets of climate change and environment such as, the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, complementarities between NDCs and SDGs, Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement, State Action Plans for Climate Change in India and building capacities of the Indian states for GHG inventorization. Her academic training has been in the realm of Political Science and Global Governance and Ethics.
