Climate emergencies can materially affect the power sector and crucial services it enables, leading to cascading effects on social services, including healthcare. This research combines management and medical sciences to identify and emphasize hospital system vulnerabilities during power outages caused by climate change. Focusing on a regional hospital, the study aims to explore how emergencies ripple through and translating knowledge into workable policies and procedures, fostering resilient healthcare systems. Expert interviews, group discussions and spatial analysis will be done. Analysis will offer recommendations for local, regional and national policies, enhancing the robustness of critical infrastructures in design and service delivery.
