Amidst global efforts to combat climate change, geothermal pavements emerge as a promising solution to mitigate temperature extremes in India's diverse climate. This study investigates the viability of utilizing recycled aggregates (RA) from construction and demolition waste to construct sustainable geothermal pavements. Through laboratory and field experiments, the strength and performance and harness of large-scale prototypes reinforced with geosynthetics are evaluated. PLT and LWD tests assess the prototypes' structural integrity, while a proposed field test pad monitors real-world performance. The study aims to establish a design framework for geothermal pavements using RA and geosynthetic reinforcements, contributing to sustainable development goals.
