Mongolia is located in a seismically active region where four great earthquakes occurred with a magnitude greater than 8 in the last century. Ulaanbaatar is the capital city with a population of 1.7 million, which is half of the country's population.

The proposed project aims to develop an application for the Shake Map of seismic intensity of ground shaking in Ulaanbaatar city. We will use observation data from the strong motion network of the university. The Shake Map application can be used in disaster risk management as well as for studying engineering structural response.
