Ravi Sinha is Professor and former Dean of Alumni & Corporate Relations at IIT Bombay. His research activities are mainly in earthquake engineering, structural engineering and disaster risk management. Prof. Sinha is closely associated with policy-making related to disaster risk management in India. Prof. Sinha has chaired/served in several government panels. Prof. Sinha is also a member of Maharashtra State Disaster Management Authority. He is the Co-Chairman of National Panel of Experts of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. Prof. Ravi Sinha is a member of Executive Committee of Bureau of Indian Standards.
