Research Assistant, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure

Nivya is an Urban Planner with a Civil Engineering background. Currently, she is a Research Assistant at Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and supports the Urban and Transport Resilience programs of CDRI. She is passionate about sustainable development and believes that every development project should be people-centric and sustainable to balance present and future generations' environmental, economic, and social needs. Nivya holds a master’s degree in planning with a specialization in Urban Planning from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam, India.
