Akruti Murhekar is an architect and an Environmental Planner from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture and SPA Bhopal respectively. She is currently working as a program fellow with India Smart Cities Fellowship Program under the Smart Cities Mission of MoHUA, managed by NIUA. Under which, she is deploying a project aimed at ward-level competitiveness to enhance service delivery (Pimpri Chinchwad) and creating ward-level indexing framework. Her interests lie in climate resilience, environmental law, and smart solutions. Having keen interest in advocacy and capacity building, she aspires to venture towards contributing to implementation of policies, providing solutions at local/ regional levels.
