Resilient Cities

Implementing Partner: Build Change

Project name:Resilient Cities

Urban areas are rapidly expanding, with nearly 70% of people expected to live in cities by 2050. As cities drive the global economy, they also face increasing risks such as heatwaves, floods, and resource strain.

CDRI’s work for urban resilience is enhancing urban safety and sustainability by equipping cities with risk assessment tools, disaster preparedness, access to funding, and resilient infrastructure.

With over 100 proposals received in response to the Call for Proposals, 15 cities across five countries will soon benefit from impactful, scalable solutions for safer urban futures.
