The project evaluates current and future climate risks to Seychelles’ ports, identifying vulnerabilities that could disrupt operations and threaten national economic stability.
It supports integrating climate-adaptive policies into the Seychelles Ports Authority’s Strategic Plan and future expansions, including Port Victoria, to ensure long-term resilience.
The project proposes targeted infrastructure adaptations, such as asset redesign and improved flood defences, to strengthen port resilience and enhance operational efficiency.
