Cohort 2021-22

The first Cohort comprised 21 teams from 9 countries, including Afghanistan, Australia, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Peru, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. The teams completed their Fellowship in July 2022 and were felicitated at an in-person Convocation in New Delhi in October 2022. 

Solutions that have emerged from this Cohort include an innovative structural protection system for resilient hospital buildings against multiple hazards such as earthquakes and fires, strengthening road resilience using landslide susceptibility models, incorporating resilience in ports, monitoring river migration at sites of critical bridge infrastructure and developing future wetlands inventory for disaster risk reduction in the Himalayan region.
