Project name: Promouvoir la résilience des infrastructures de santé face au climat et aux catastrophes au Honduras (Potrerillos, Pimienta, Villanueva)

Le projet renforce les capacités des autorités locales de trois villes de la vallée de Sula pour assurer la résilience des infrastructures de santé face aux inondations, séismes et vagues de chaleur.

Le projet formera les personnels locaux à une plateforme numérique d’assistance technique basée sur les données, facilitant la préparation, l’adaptation et la modernisation des centres de soins pour mieux résister aux catastrophes futures.

Impact

Environ 50 000 personnes vulnérables, dont des femmes, enfants, personnes âgées et en situation de handicap, bénéficieront de services de santé améliorés et continus grâce à la modernisation des centres de soins de la vallée de Sula.

Près de 30 responsables locaux seront formés à l’usage de plateformes numériques pour planifier et rénover les centres de soins. Environ 10 000 habitants, majoritairement des femmes, seront sensibilisés aux systèmes de santé résilients.

Un montant d’environ $600 000 a été alloué pour identifier les priorités et rénover 24 centres de soins de santé primaires dans les trois municipalités concernées, permettant ainsi des économies potentielles d’environ $25 000 par an en coûts d’exploitation et d’entretien de ces infrastructures.

Before joining CDRI, Alpana held senior leadership roles at The George Institute for Global Health, Plan India, WaterAid India, and SOS Children’s Villages, leading institutional fundraising and cultivating strategic partnerships for social impact. 

She holds a Master’s in Finance & Control from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School (CSR India). Her work is driven by a commitment to building enduring, values-based partnerships that accelerate sustainable development outcomes.
