Sarga GS

Sarga is an urban designer and architect with over seven years of experience which ranges from public space design, research, development of urban design and planning guidelines, data analysis, project management, to the creation of urban visualizations. Prior to her role as an Analyst - Urban at CDRI, she was a part of the Young Professional Programme (YPP) team, contributing to the development of the UIRP strategy.

Sarga has also worked on the UN-H Sustainable Cities Integrated Approach Pilot (SCIAP) project, contributing to the development of city diagnostic reports and sustainable city strategies for five Indian cities. She is skilled in incorporating Gender Inclusive and Social Equity (GESI) considerations into public transport including non-motorized transport (NMT), public open spaces, building design and planning, and urban governance.

Sarga holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the Government College of Engineering, Thrissur, and a Master's degree in Urban Design from the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET-Trivandrum), India.
