Her Excellency Ambassador Ms. Marisa Gerards, Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherlands to India visited CDRI Secretariat along with a team of experts from The Netherlands for a joint meeting on Urban Water Resilience with CDRI. She thanked the Prime Minister of India for his leadership in initiating CDRI and stressed upon the synergy between the Prime Ministers on the importance of water resilience in addition to energy, technology, health and innovation.

Director General CDRI Mr. Amit Prothi welcomed the Dutch delegation including experts from Deltares and appreciated the close collaboration towards the development and plan to mainstream Urban Water Infrastructure Resilience Programme. The deliberations centred around opportunities for collaboration in the areas of training, capacity building and knowledge advocacy in the areas of water management, flood early warning systems, risk data for investments and informed decision making targeted towards Member Countries and vulnerable geographies.
