Soham has more than 4 years of program development and management in the domain of disaster and climate risk reduction. He specializes in project development, client engagement, and knowledge management. His expertise also extends to operationalizing funding mechanisms, developing stakeholder engagement strategies, and organizing impactful workshops and events. He currently works as an Analyst for the Infrastructure for Resilient Island States (IRIS) programme, CDRI’s flagship initiative for Small Island Developing States. Herein, Soham spearheads multiple critical functions (research, partnerships and advocacy) essential for the successful implementation of IRIS.
Soham has a strong research background and is currently supporting United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a research fellow for the development of the 7th edition of the global environment assessment – Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7).
Soham holds a Master’s in International Affairs (Erasmus Scholar) and a Bachelors in Commerce.
