Aparajita brings along an experience of more than 20 years in KM and theme-based communication across GoI (Ministry of Jal Shakti, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Women and Child Development) and other govt. agencies viz. NACO, NIHFW, NHSRC, NIPCCD. With a strong understanding of thematic issues (Livelihoods, Gender, WASH, Family health, Nutrition, Disaster Management), Aparajita has helped UN agencies (UNAIDS, UNODC, UNICEF), donor agencies (USAID, BMGF, World Bank) and development agencies (FHI 360, Oxfam, The Union, WaterAid) design & rollout multi-lateral/ bi-lateral initiatives in KM, Comms. and capacity strengthening. Currently, Aparajita is a Key Expert- Knowledge Management (KM) on Secondment from Miyamoto International/ USAID at CDRI.
Aparajita holds a doctorate in “Semantics of Knowledge Management” and is a Postgraduate in Mass Comm.; Documentation & Info. Sc.; Lib. & Info. Sc.; and Zoology. She also has a PG Diploma in Journalism and Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights.
