Aishwarya Raj

Aishwarya Raj is an Analyst-Biennial Report on Global Infrastructure Resilience. at CDRI.

Her expertise lies in the arenas of global climate policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At CDRI, she works on the Biennial Report on Global Infrastructure Resilience. As part of this engagement, she has coordinated and steered the work on financing for resilient infrastructure, and monitoring the progress on achieving infrastructure resilience, on a global scale. Previously, at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), her work profile catered to the international, national and sub-national facets of Climate Change and environment such as the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, complementarities between NDCs and SDGs, Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement, State Action Plans for Climate Change in India and building capacities of the Indian states for GHG inventorization.

Her academic training has been in the realm of Political Science and Global Governance. The former being her undergraduate study, followed by a specialization in Chinese studies under the area studies programme on East Asia and a subsequent post graduate course in Global Governance and Ethics from University College London (UCL).
