Mr. Viraj Desai

Viraj Desai is a public policy and communications professional with over 12 years of experience having worked across diverse sectors. Currently, Viraj is engaged as a Communications Specialist with Miyamoto International and works on the USAID-CDRI project. In his previous stint, Viraj was a part of the Press and Information team with the European External Action Service, the diplomatic service of the European Union. Viraj began his career as a journalist with India's largest business daily, The Economic Times, covering energy and infrastructure policy developments in India. Since then, he has worked in India's largest education-focused NGO, Pratham; World Bank's private sector arm, the International Finance Corporation and one of India's fastest-growing conglomerates, the Adani Group.

Viraj has a Master’s in Public Policy from TERI School of Advanced Studies, graduation from Madras University, and also a diploma in Journalism.
