Mr. Arighna Mitra

Arighna began his career in architecture and design, where he garnered experience across diverse typologies, tools, terrains, and work cultures. In 2022, he joined CDRI under the Young Professionals Programme (YPP). As a YP, he contributed to important initiatives like the DRI Lexicon, the Global Infrastructure Resilience Report and GIRI Data Platform.

Arighna has previously worked with Metarch Studios, Avani Institute of Design, and Manipal School of Architecture and Planning.

Arighna holds a master’s degree in architecture from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. His professional affiliations include being an Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional, an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Architects, a permanent member of the Association for Building Security – India, and a member of the South Asia Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes
