Project name: Évaluation rapide des infrastructures et gestion des ouvrages pour la résilience des ponts en République dominicaine

Le projet évalue infrastructures et gestion des ouvrages en République dominicaine, axant sur maintenance, passation de marchés, procédures d’approvisionnement et formation.

L’étude analyse neuf ponts dans trois provinces, évaluant divers types de construction, ancienneté et défis principaux via inspections visuelles des tabliers et structures de soutien.

Les résultats identifient les besoins urgents en maintenance, optimisent la gestion des ouvrages et renforcent les compétences locales pour garantir sécurité et durabilité de ces infrastructures stratégiques à long terme.

Grâce à l’évaluation des tabliers et structures des ponts, le projet identifie les besoins importants de maintenance, garantit des interventions, renforce la résilience structurelle, prolonge la durée de vie des ouvrages et protège les communautés.

L’analyse des processus de passation de marchés et d’approvisionnement optimise la gestion des ouvrages, permettant une maintenance plus rentable, réduisant les perturbations et améliorant l’efficacité de l’allocation des ressources pour les projets majeurs d’infrastructures publiques.

La formation renforce l’expertise technique des équipes locales, leur permettant d’appliquer des stratégies de maintenance autonomes. Cette approche assure la durabilité des infrastructures et réduit la dépendance aux interventions extérieures.

With over 25 years of experience spanning international development, global health, and the non-profit sector, she brings deep expertise in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and delivering strategic change. 

At CDRI, Alpana has been pivotal in forging strategic alliances with governments, international organizations, and philanthropies. She also plays a key role in fortifying institutional systems and board governance mechanisms as the Coalition transitions into an international organization. 

Before joining CDRI, Alpana held senior leadership roles at The George Institute for Global Health, Plan India, WaterAid India, and SOS Children’s Villages, leading institutional fundraising and cultivating strategic partnerships for social impact. 

She holds a Master’s in Finance & Control from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School (CSR India). Her work is driven by a commitment to building enduring, values-based partnerships that accelerate sustainable development outcomes.
