Project name: Renforcement de la résilience des infrastructures de santé en Haïti face aux catastrophes

Ce projet vise à renforcer la résilience et la capacité d’adaptation des infrastructures sanitaires en Haïti, afin de garantir la continuité des soins médicaux avant, pendant et après les situations d’urgence ou les événements dangereux.

Le projet prévoit des évaluations des établissements de santé, l’élaboration de plans d’action ciblés pour renforcer les systèmes essentiels, et l’alignement des politiques sanitaires nationales sur les normes et dispositifs internationaux d’urgence.

Le projet vise aussi à renforcer les capacités du personnel de santé en lui fournissant les compétences et ressources nécessaires pour maintenir les services médicaux en situation de crise.

Impact

Ce projet renforcera le système de santé haïtien en améliorant la résilience des infrastructures, en assurant la continuité des services essentiels, en formant le personnel et en favorisant une réponse coordonnée et multisectorielle aux catastrophes.

Le projet renforcera indirectement les communautés grâce à un système de santé plus réactif et fiable, tout en encourageant des investissements pour moderniser les établissements conformément aux normes actuelles et améliorer la qualité des soins.

Cette initiative améliorera l’accès aux soins, la santé maternelle et infantile, et réduira les maladies, générant des impacts durables sur la résilience communautaire, la réduction de la pauvreté et le développement économique.

Alpana Saha 2

Director, Partnerships, Governance, and Resource Mobilisation 

Alpana heads institutional partnerships, governance, and resource mobilization at CDRI, advancing cross-sector collaborations that drive resilient infrastructure programming across Member Countries and organizations. With over 25 years of experience spanning international development, global health, and the non-profit sector, she brings deep expertise in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and delivering strategic change. 

At CDRI, Alpana has been pivotal in forging strategic alliances with governments, international organizations, and philanthropies. She also plays a key role in fortifying institutional systems and board governance mechanisms as the Coalition transitions into an international organization. 

Before joining CDRI, Alpana held senior leadership roles at The George Institute for Global Health, Plan India, WaterAid India, and SOS Children’s Villages, leading institutional fundraising and cultivating strategic partnerships for social impact. 

She holds a Master’s in Finance & Control from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School (CSR India). Her work is driven by a commitment to building enduring, values-based partnerships that accelerate sustainable development outcomes.
