Project name: Infrastructures de services publics résilientes aux catastrophes à Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis

Ce projet vise à renforcer les capacités des fournisseurs de services publics essentiels à Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis afin qu’ils puissent gérer de manière efficace les risques et vulnérabilités pesant sur les infrastructures essentielles.

Il prévoit la cartographie des aléas, l’évaluation des faiblesses des infrastructures ainsi que l’élaboration d’un atlas complet des vulnérabilités pour appuyer une planification et une prise de décision fondées sur des données probantes.

Un cadre de coordination unifié sera mis en place pour piloter les améliorations ciblées des infrastructures, renforcer la préparation aux situations d’urgence et promouvoir un développement durable face à l’intensification des aléas naturels.

Le projet renforcera les capacités des fournisseurs de services publics à Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis à gérer les risques multialéas, en bénéficiant directement à 53 082 habitants grâce à une meilleure prise de décision, à la cartographie des vulnérabilités et à l’élaboration d’un atlas complet de la vulnérabilité des infrastructures.

A unified coordination framework and strengthened critical infrastructure resilience will indirectly support 600,000 residents across the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, enhance the safety of 800,000 annual visitors, and sustain tourism-driven economic stability.

Ce projet servira de modèle régional en matière de planification d’infrastructures résilientes au climat et aux catastrophes, consolidant la sécurité à long terme, la stabilité économique et les capacités d’adaptation des États insulaires de la Caraïbe orientale.

Alpana heads institutional partnerships, governance, and resource mobilization at CDRI, advancing cross-sector collaborations that drive resilient infrastructure programming across Member Countries and organizations. With over 25 years of experience spanning international development, global health, and the non-profit sector, she brings deep expertise in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and delivering strategic change. 

At CDRI, Alpana has been pivotal in forging strategic alliances with governments, international organizations, and philanthropies. She also plays a key role in fortifying institutional systems and board governance mechanisms as the Coalition transitions into an international organization. 

Before joining CDRI, Alpana held senior leadership roles at The George Institute for Global Health, Plan India, WaterAid India, and SOS Children’s Villages, leading institutional fundraising and cultivating strategic partnerships for social impact. 

She holds a Master’s in Finance & Control from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School (CSR India). Her work is driven by a commitment to building enduring, values-based partnerships that accelerate sustainable development outcomes.
