Water Collection and Treatment System for Floating Communities in Peru

Partenaire de mise en œuvre: Build Change

Project name: Water Collection and Treatment System for Floating Communities in Peru

This project tackles water access issues for floating and stilted communities in Loreto, where 20% of residents live on water.

With limited clean drinking water sources, it explores simple, cost-effective collection, storage, and treatment solutions suited to these environments.

By enhancing sanitation and reducing pollution, the initiative provides sustainable alternatives that operate independently of traditional infrastructure, ensuring long-term resilience and improved public health in these vulnerable communities.
