Building Mountain Disaster Resilience via Multi-Stakeholder Networks in India

Partenaire de mise en œuvre: Build Change

Project name:Building mountain disaster resilience via multi-stakeholder networks in India

This project strengthens disaster resilience in the Kashmir Valley by establishing a robust multi-stakeholder network. Given the valley’s high vulnerability to earthquakes, floods, landslides, and avalanches, these hazards threaten community safety and development.

Institutionalizing collaboration among diverse stakeholders enhances preparedness, response, and risk reduction.

By integrating local expertise, policy frameworks, and disaster management strategies, the initiative ensures a coordinated approach to protecting communities and fostering long-term resilience against natural disasters.
