Deputy Director of the Chilean National Emergency Office

Mr Cristóbal Mena MSc in Risk, Disaster and Resilience from University College London is the Deputy Director of the Chilean National Emergency Office where he is leading the bill to create a National Disaster Risk Management System as well as the design and implementation of the 2019-2030 National Policy for Disaster Risk Reduction and its Strategic Plan.

He has worked in several areas related to Disaster Risk Management for international, national and private organisations such as The World Bank in Europe and Central Asia, and Pacifico a startup for innovative solutions for resilience; as well lecturer on Disaster Public Policies.
